About Ailish
I hold a Masters in Development from University of Limerick. It provided the stepping stone to an international development role in Haiti. Living in a rural community I gained extensive field management experience in:
Project Planning,
Implementation,
Monitoring and Evaluation,
Livelihoods & Enterprise,
Health,
Education,
Emergency Response and Gender Equality.

In preparation for my return to Ireland, in 2018 I set up my own contracting business and to date have worked on the following projects:
Strategic plan development and management restructure for an Ohpthalmology hospital.
University graduate field programme for US based students.
Project management for Ohpthalmology clinic and field surgery.
HR support for a locally based Food & Beverage business.
Management and business expansion support for agri-business SME.
In 2019 I further diversified and run a small farm business in rural Galway.
I am actively involved, on a voluntary capacity, in community development within my own community.
“I believe it is a key responsibility of citizenship to actively participate in community at local; national and/or international level.”
